A matcha bowl (chawan) handmade in Japan with a deep black glossy glaze and a light color gradient. The embossing can be found on the bottom of the handmade bowl. Measuring 12 cm x 8 cm, the chawan has a nice large volume and is still very light - perfect for pure matcha. Accordingly, we include a wider matcha whisk from 100 Prong in the set.

30g Japanese Matcha in Ceremonial quality directly from Mr. Yoshiharu from Shizuoka, ultra-fine ground & with a fine balance of mild-sweet and strong-aromatic. The high-quality matcha is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We source the matcha directly from Yoshiharu San in Japan without any middlemen! The embossing on the bottom of the chawan (seen on the right) bears the signature of the producer. The glaze has been artfully left out at the bottom.
Our matcha bowl, matcha broom and matcha spoon are handmade. Therefore, clean them only with warm water & let it dry well. Detergents, vinegar or the dishwasher could damage the accessories.
