This matcha bowl (chawan) was made by hand in Japan. The elegant deep black glossy glaze has a beautiful color gradient on the rim and has been artfully left out towards the bottom. Thanks to its tall, bulbous shape, it is ideal for whisking matcha without splashing. Each bowl is a handmade unique piece of the highest quality & varies slightly in shape and color.
