Ceremonial Grade Quality
Not only the bright green color, but also the perfectly balanced taste of intense aroma, sweetness and umami testify to the high quality of Limited Matcha Kyoto. Try it now!
-
Compared to our other matcha teas, this matcha has the most intense aroma, low bitterness and a relatively strong umami with a slight sweetness. The high quality can be recognized by the bright green color and the full-bodied, aromatic taste. This is only achieved by shading the tea plants for a long time before harvesting, selecting only the most tender tea leaves from the first plucking and careful further processing.
The matcha powder is very finely ground. This means that the powderdissolves easily in water - ideal for matcha beginners. It is also ideal for making healthy matcha ice cream or milkshakes. Just give it a try!
-
Hayashi San and his wife grow this special Okumidori matcha in Wazuka, Kyoto. Wazuka is a small village that lives almost exclusively from tea cultivation. Hayashi San's tea fields are nestled in the hills and interspersed with small forests.
-
The matcha is naturally grown completely pesticide-free and without chemical fertilizers. As the tea fields of Hayashi San are separated from their neighbors by small forests, the tea plants are well protected from harmful environmental influences.
-
1/2-1 teaspoon per cup or bowl / 70 degrees
The matcha can also be drunk by beginners without hesitation due to its easy solubility. Normally, a Chasen (茶筅), a matcha whisk made of bamboo, is used. The whisk is used to mix the powder with the water and whisk the matcha until frothy. Alternatively, you can also use a small whisk or milk frother.
Matcha Latte & Co.
Whether in frothed milk, in mush, yogurt or as a smoothie - with this matcha you have a great ingredient that not only gives you an interesting color, but above all a great taste and a lot of healthy benefits.
Storage
The tea comes in a sealed and resealable flavor bag. To make it easier to remove the matcha and to keep it fresh for longer, we recommend our practical matcha tin.
