YUZU Kukicha

18,00 €

Naturally grown yuzu citrus fruit meets kukicha green tea made from high-quality asamushi sencha. The yuzu citrus fruits with complex aromas are dried and the peel is then combined with a fine selection of tea stems and broken tea leaves. This creates a unique green tea with sweet, tangy fruit aromas and full-bodied green tea notes. By selecting only briefly steamed Sencha green tea, it is now fruitier and even better balanced.

Stem tea

For Yuzu Kukicha, yuzu citrus fruits with complex aromas are dried and the peel is then combined with a fine selection of tea stems and broken tea leaves. The tea stems are selected during the sorting process of high-quality Asamushi Sencha green tea.

Tangy & fruity

The fine citrus aromas of the yuzu fruit harmonize wonderfully with the full-bodied taste of the Kukicha green tea.

  • This loose yuzu kukicha green tea has a tangy, fruity & slightly sweet taste. It smells of fine citrus aromas and light grassy notes.

  • This Kabusecha comes from Kawane in Shizuoka Prefecture in the heart of Japan. Susumu San's tea farm is run without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Susumu San himself worked in the Japanese tea industry for a long time and has now been growing his own tea exclusively for us for several years.

  • No pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.

  • 2-3 teaspoons per teapot / 70 degrees / 60 seconds

The loose tea is poured into a pot with a sieve. Alternatively, you can use fillable disposable tea bags. It is a very tangy & light green tea and tastes good to both beginners and green tea connoisseurs. Our tutorial video below shows you how easy it is to prepare.

    More infusions

Like any good Sencha, it can of course be infused several times. An infusion time of 10-20 seconds is sufficient. Due to its fine leaf, up to 5 infusions are possible. Not only does the tea last longer, but more and more healthy substances are released from the tea. Of course, you can also try out different temperatures and infusion times to find out what you like best.

    Cold infusion

Like our Senchas, Yuzu Kukicha is particularly suitable for cold brewing: simply pour cold water over the same amount of green tea and leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes. The delicious refreshment is ready. Our tutorial video below shows you this simple and super refreshing preparation method.

    Storage

The Yuzu Kukicha comes in a sealed and resealable flavor bag. This makes it super easy to remove and the tea stays fresh for a long time.
