Original Japanese Kyusu teapot, handmade from natural clay in Tokoname, for brewing all types of green tea. Hand-painted with flowers and Mount Fuji in the background. Inside the teapot is a tea strainer in the shape of a belt (obi), which encloses the entire kyusu - available with an additional removable stainless steel tea strainer.

Tokoname has been known worldwide for over 1000 years for its natural clay pottery. Throughout the city you can admire sights made of clay.
When cleaning our original Japanese teapots, you should only use water and no cleaning agents. The clay inside the kyusu could otherwise absorb unwanted substances or damage the teapot.

Our most popular green tea. This fruity, aromatic green tea from the first harvest of 2026 comes from Mr. Takayuki of Kobayashi (Miyazaki) on the southern island of Kyushu, Japan. It is an aromatic, slightly sweet, and mild green tea that tastes delicious and fragrant when brewed both hot and cold. Its aroma and flavor are reminiscent of fruits such as mango or passion fruit. Like all of our green teas, it is completely pesticide-free.
