Kyusu Tokoname KURAI
Don't like bitter teas? Then this teapot is just right for you: original Japanese Kyusu, handmade from natural clay in Tokoname, for brewing all types of green tea. Integrated hand-punched tea strainer made of clay - available with additional removable stainless steel tea strainer.

The red tokoname clay perfectly balances the taste of your tea. Bitter flavors are bound by the iron-rich clay and sweet notes are enhanced.
Removable tea strainer
The additional removable tea strainer allows you to maintain the exact brewing time and then keep the tea warm in the teapot.
Tokoname has been known worldwide for over 1000 years for its natural clay pottery. Throughout the city you can admire sights made of clay.
When cleaning our original Japanese teapots, you should only use water and no cleaning agents. The clay inside the kyusu could otherwise absorb unwanted substances or damage the teapot.
