Mr. Takayuki from Miyazaki - Shincha & Sencha

Mr. Takayuki is the first tea maker for whose Sencha green tea we immediately decided. You can buy it from us as Sencha N°1. Mr. Takayuki produces this fruity-mild Sencha on his own tea farm in Kobayashi, Miyazaki Prefecture on the island of Kyushu. In addition, we get a special spring selection from him every year - the Shincha Sencha. You can learn more about our SHINCHA here. Takayuki San took over the tea farm from his father and runs it in the third generation.

The fact that Mr. Takayuki has created a great green tea without the use of pesticides has already been attested to by others. In 2019, he won the "Minister of Agriculture Prize" at the Youth Farmer's Conference. You could, of course, enjoy it too: You can order Mr. Takayuki's Sencha in our store.
