Hier ist alles dabei: handgefertigter Tanuki Teebecher, passgenaues Teesieb und speziell für Kaltaufgüsse geeignete Sencha Grüntee. Selbstverständlich alles hergestellt & direkt importiert aus Japan und 100% geprüft pestizidfrei.

PREPARATION IS THIS EASY
The choice is yours:
Fukamushicha has a brewing time of just 3 minutes due to its powdered tea leaf components. The infusion tastes sweet and spicy with lots of umami and an intense aroma. A maximum of 3 infusions are possible.
Shincha Sencha N°1 consists of finely rolled needles and should steep for approx. 5 minutes. It is fresh and fruity, lighter and sweeter. A maximum of 5 infusions are possible.
Handmade in Japan
Eiko Ito and her family of four painstakingly produce the Tanuki mugs by hand. The pottery with the tanuki motif is now known throughout Japan & extremely popular. Orders need more than a year in advance at the small pottery.

The short infusion time in cold water produces a refreshing & slightly sweet taste with a fruity aroma and clear umami notes.
Tanukis (狸, "tanuki") are considered tricky in Japanese folklore, like to dress up and can even turn into magical tea kettles. So the little prankster fits perfectly as a motif on our tea mugs.
