Great Taste Winner

Der Maji Na Koucha hat einen Stern bei den Great Taste Awards 2024 in London gewonnen. Das hatte die Jury zu sagen: “A neat black grade of leaf with touches of brown.  A lovely honey-gold limpidity in the glass; the honeyed aroma is enticing. We find the honeyed notes emerging above the tannins and slight sourness and find the balance and the drinking experience pleasing.”

  • This loose black tea has a mildly aromatic & slightly sweet taste with a smooth full-bodied flavor. The tea is not at all bitter, as is often the case with black teas.

  • This Gyokuro green tea is grown by Yamamoto San in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture in the heart of Japan.

  • The black tea develops an intense full-bodied flavor and pleasant sweetness. The green tea is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.

  • 1 teaspoon per 100ml / 70 degrees / 90 seconds

The loose tea is brewed in a pot with a sieve. Alternatively, you can use disposable tea bags. It is a sweet, mildly aromatic and full-bodied black tea and is particularly suitable for those who do not like conventional black tea. Our tutorial video below shows you how to prepare it easily.

    More infusions

This black tea is also suitable for several infusions. At least 2-3 are possible. A brewing time of 10-20 seconds is completely sufficient. Not only does the tea last longer, but more and more healthy substances are released from the tea. Of course, you can also try out different temperatures and infusion times to find out what you like best.

    Storage

The black tea comes in a sealed and resealable flavor bag. This makes it super easy to remove and the tea stays fresh for a long time.
