The Houjicha Sannenbancha tea is a 3(!) year matured roasted tea with valuable ingredients for low-caffeine tea enjoyment. Soothing & warming in winter. The Houjicha comes from Kazu San from the Shizuoka Peace Tea Factory in Kawane in central Japan.

This houjicha is ideal for your houjicha latte creations at home: Ground from roasted tea plants from various tea gardens in Shizuoka.
三年番茶 - 50g Houjicha tea (Sannenbancha)
For this houjicha, Kazu San from the Shizuoka Peace Tea Factory collects old tea bushes from the Kawane area and leaves them to mature for 3 years. Only then are the bushes and leaves roasted over an open fire and the cut tea leaves and tea twigs blended into a tea. The result is a sweet, nutty tea with fine roasted aromas.
