Kabusecha N°2
Kabusecha N°2
ATTENTION: only a few packs still available. This Kabusecha will be discontinued for the time being...
This full-bodied & slightly sweet Kabusecha green tea from the first harvest of 2023 comes from Mr. Seiichi from the village of Sagara (Kumamoto) on the island of Kyushu. Due to its long shading with nets, it is very aromatic, has a good umami & is very full-bodied in taste. The tea needles smell wonderfully fruity and this fruitiness, paired with the typical full-bodied Kabusecha aroma, is also reflected in the taste. Like all our green teas, it is of course absolutely pesticide-free.

This Kabusecha comes from the small village of Sagara in Kumamoto Prefecture on the southern island of Kyushu. Seiichi San runs the tea farm together with his son without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

The Kabusecha is half-shaded with nets approx. 20 days before harvest. This is how it develops its mildness and slight sweetness. The green tea is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.

1 teaspoon per 100ml / 65 degrees / 60 seconds
The loose tea is brewed in a pot with a sieve. Alternatively, you can use disposable tea bags. It is a very sweet, aromatic and smooth green tea and tastes good to both beginners and green tea connoisseurs. Our tutorial video below shows you how easy it is to prepare.
More infusions
Kabusecha is ideal for several infusions. At least 3-4 infusions are possible. An infusion time of 10-20 seconds is completely sufficient. Not only does the tea last longer, but more and more healthy substances are released from the tea. Of course, you can also try out different temperatures and infusion times to find out what you like best.
Coldinfusion
Like our Senchas, Kabusecha is also particularly suitable for cold brewing: simply pour cold water over the same amount of Kabusecha and leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes. The delicious refreshment is ready. Our tutorial video below shows you this simple and super refreshing preparation method.
Storage
Kabusecha comes in a sealed and resealable flavor bag. This makes it super easy to remove and the tea stays fresh for a long time.
