Highlight of this teapot: the hand-shaped snake (Japanese 蛇 = hebi) announces the year 2025. The snake symbolizes prudence, wisdom and thoughtfulness.

The fine mesh tea strainer holds back the tea leaves when pouring. The lid has been precision-ground to fit the teapot perfectly.

When cleaning our original Japanese teapots, you should only use water and no cleaning agents. The clay inside the kyusu could otherwise absorb unwanted substances or damage the teapot.
