Konpeito is traditionally made by hand in Kyoto. The special shape, the sweet design and the elaborate production make it a very special gift for Japan and tea fans or as a special little something for yourself. The small works of art made of sugar have a light ramune aroma. Ramune is a very popular lemonade from Japan.
Konpeito was introduced to Japan by the Portuguese in the 16th century and has enjoyed great popularity ever since. The sweets come in a small transparent box & are beautifully presented. Choose from three designs: Dog, Cat or Panda 🐶😺🐼
