A very fruity Sencha green tea with an intense freshness and light effervescence. Made from wild tea plants that can develop their original flavor without cultivation. Grown, harvested & processed by Susumu San on his newly founded tea farm in Kawane, Shizuoka in the heart of Japan. Hand-picked Sencha green tea specialty of the highest freshness.

Hand-picked tea leaves
Susumu San checks every single basket of freshly harvested tea leaves for aroma and quality. The result is an intensely fragrant, highly aromatic green tea that has become his trademark in Japan.
Wild green tea
Zairai trees - each one grown from seed - have their own unique character. Although they are difficult to grow and produce very low yields, they offer a rich and deeply complex flavor that cannot be imitated.
Intensely fruity & slightly sweet
The special Zairai tea bushes, the hand-picked harvest and the very light steaming create an intense fruitiness and a sweet, mild aftertaste. The tea has a sweet, fruity fragrance as a tea leaf and in the infusion.
A passion for tea growing
Susumu San quit his job as a manager at a large tea company in 2023 to pursue his passion for growing & selecting green tea. He bought an abandoned tea farm in Kawane and now uses his knowledge & years of experience to produce his own tea. He does not use any pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.
Harvesting by hand is very laborious, but produces an exquisite green tea of the highest quality.
