A sweet, full-bodied matcha tea of the highest ceremonial grade—grown, harvested, and perfected in Uji, Japan. Full-bodied aroma with a delicate balance of sweetness and umami, as well as subtle notes of cocoa. Extremely creamy and smooth mouthfeel thanks to the exceptionally finely ground matcha powder. A fantastic treat, especially when enjoyed on its own (koicha or usucha), but also as a high-quality matcha latte.

Characteristics: sweet and full-bodied, creamy and smooth, very aromatic, delicately balanced, Ceremonial Grade

Processing: ground in granite mills
Origin: Uji (Kyoto), Japan

MATCHA No. 1 (30 g)

This first-harvest matcha comes from Mr. Hasegawa in Hamakita (Shizuoka), Japan. It is a very aromatic matcha with a robust umami flavor and a perfect balance of sweetness, spiciness, and freshness. It’s ideal on its own as a classic matcha tea, as a matcha latte, mixed into yogurt, or in shakes and smoothies.

Characteristics: robust and full-bodied, sweet and spicy, well-balanced, Super Premium Grade
Producer: Yoshiaki Hasegawa
Processing: ground in granite mills

MATCHA No. 2 (30 g)

A very mild and slightly sweet matcha with no bitterness whatsoever; precisely because it is so mild, it’s ideal for beginners. Imported directly from Yoshiharu-san in Shizuoka, Japan. It’s especially delicious as a matcha latte, in muesli, as a milkshake, or even on its own.
